With heavy snowfall expected, the parking bans move in. Here's a short list of NEO cities that have issued them:
Parma
Snow ban will be in effect starting at 2 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15. There will be no parking of vehicles on city streets effective at 2 a.m. There will be notifications set once the parking ban has been canceled.
Fairview Park
A parking ban has been issued until 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Warrensville Heights
Parking ban from 1:00 a.m. Monday through Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. Parking of all vehicles upon any city streets is prohibited.
Mentor
A snow emergency parking ban has been issued for Mentor when snow accumulation exceeds 2 inches
Cuyahoga Falls
A citywide parking ban will be in effect from 8 a.m. Monday through 10 p.m. Tuesday to assist street crews in clearing off roadways. Cars parked on city streets will be ticketed and are subject to towing.
