Ohio City visitors and residents are upset about the new pay-to-park feature that rolled out this week.

When you park, you will now see green signs prompting you what to do.

After downloading an app on a smartphone, drivers will now be required to pay $1.35 for two hours of parking. Payment can also be made by scanning a QR code or by calling a number on the posted signage.

The city said law enforcement is being temporarily paused during this transition period, to allow time for residents to get acclimated to the change.
