The Oscars are this Sunday

The 96th annual Academy Awards will be airing one hour earlier due to daylight saving time

The Oscars are on Sunday! This year’s awards is set for 7PM Eastern on ABC, with Jimmy Kimmel set to host once again. “Oppenheimer” leads with 13 nominations, followed by “Poor Things” grabbing 11 nods, ““Killers of the Flower Moon” getting ten nods, and “Barbie” being recognized eight times.

A bunch of celebs are set to present awards this year, including Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Zendaya, Tim Robbins, and Forest Whitaker.
The Oscars will also feature performances of this year’s songs nominated for Best Original Song by Ryan Gosling, Billie Eilish and Finneas, Becky G, Jon Batiste, and Scott George and the Osage Singers.

Ahead of the show, Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough are hosting “The Oscars Red Carpet Show,” kicking off at 6:30PM Eastern. The special highlights all the Oscar nominees, performers, and presenters…and of course, all the high-profile red-carpet arrivals.
