A lake effect snow warning remains in effect for a large portion of northeast Ohio.
The alert expires at 1 a.m. on Saturday for Ashtabula County, and at 4 a.m. on Friday for others.
Some people can expect anywhere between 3 to 10 inches of snowfall and wind gusts of up to 50 mph.
And of course, with that comes worsening road conditions and low visibility which will impact commuting through Friday evening.
The heaviest burst of snow will be between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Snow showers become widespread into the evening. There will be a wintry mix in some areas.
