Survey reveals America’s least favorite Thanksgiving side dish

As soon as the calendar hits November, mouths begin watering in anticipation of the upcoming Thanksgiving feast.

November means that everyone’s favorite food holiday is right around the corner, and many are already starting to plan meals for the big day.

Of course, there are plenty of traditional dishes that make an appearance at the dinner table, but according to a new survey, there is one side dish many Americans can do without.

The survey, conducted by Instacart, asked 2,000 Americans what they plan on eating as part of their Thanksgiving dinner this year. While the obvious choices of turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie all made the cut, there was one dish plenty of respondents said they always avoid.

According to The Takeout, 27% of respondents said candied yams were the worst part of Thanksgiving.

Of course, not everyone agreed as some respondents picked stuffing and dinner rolls as the dish they pass on.

Overall, 91% of respondents in the survey said they plan on celebrating Thanksgiving this year, so there will be plenty of meals planned.
