Detroit Grand Prix drivers get preview of new road course

The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix will hit the streets of Detroit in less than three months, and some of the drivers got a chance to preview the new 1.7-mile downtown track.

Felix Ronsenqvist, driver of the No. 6 Chevrolet for Arrow McLaren in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, and Santino Ferrucci, driver of the No. 14 Chevrolet for AJ Foyt Racing were in town this week promoting the Grand Prix and checking out the new street course. They joined the JJ & JoAnne show to talk about what they think of the course and returning to the streets of Detroit.

The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix is being held June 2-4. More than half of the racing circuit will be accessible for free, including key fan areas in Spirit Plaza, Hart Plaza and the Riverwalk. You can purchase tickets for the event at DetroitGP.com
