Eight celebrities will take to the stage at The Fillmore in Detroit Thursday night to compete in a lip sync battle for the New Day Foundation for Families, a nonprofit that offers financial and emotional support for families fighting cancer.
JoAnne Purtan will be joined by two of her sisters, Jill and Jessica, for their routine. Also performing tonight will be:

Earl Cureton, former Detroit Piston

Each of the performers is playing for a "New Day Family," someone facing cancer who has been helped by the Foundation.
The performers will be judged by celebrity judges that include Local 4's Anchor Evrod Cassimy and former U-M Quarterback Devin Gardner, who won last year's lip sync battle! The audience will also get to vote for their favorite performance. Former WXYZ Sports Anchor/Reporter Justin Rose will emcee the event.
