Tim Burton Directing Wednesday Addams Series For Netflix

Tim Burton will make his TV directing debut with a live-action Wednesday Addams series

Netflix has given the Addams Family spinoff an eight-episode order. According to Variety, the show, called Wednesday, is a coming-of-age comedy, written by Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar. It's described as "a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams' years as a student at Nevermore Academy."

This is Burton's first live-action show and his TV directing debut. He'll also be an executive producer.
