Lake Michigan can be fun. It got a little scary when 34 people were spending time on the frozen ice and it broke off and started floating.
This happened near Green Bay. The ice floated almost a mile. Thankfully the Coast Guard was able to recuse them all with multiple trips.
It was a surprise for Shane Nelson, "We thought it was interesting, got out of our shanty, took a look and people were yelling on the ice we're separating." No one was injured. More here.
