It's going to be a hot weekend in Ann Arbor for the thousands of people expected for the Ann Arbor Art Fair.
The annual three-day fair, which began Thursday, is considered to be the largest juried art fair in the country. Nearly 1,000 artists will be displaying their work with the estimated half a million people descending on the city this weekend.
The three art fairs span 30 city blocks: The Original Ann Arbor Street Art Fair, the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair and the Ann Arbor State Street Art Fair. Hours for Friday are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and on Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
