Roberto Cazzaniga thought he was having an online relationship with famous model Alessandra Ambrosio. It lasted fifteen years. Many pictures and phone calls were made. It wasn't Ambrosio doing the interaction.
Cazzaniga spent over $800,000 supporting the fake relationship. He thought he was giving her healthcare financial support plus expensive gifts. His brother remembers this conversation, “One day he was up in the room, in the dark. I see him crying, I ask him what he has and he tells me that he has fallen in love but this woman is in intensive care for a heart operation and she cannot go to the hospital because she would be angry.”
