Listen up y’all, after a two week hiatus, Britney Spears returned to social media with a video message to her fans.
Standing in front of her go to video backdrop, against a white wall, Spears clarified, “Hi! So I know that there have been a lot of comments and a lot of people saying a lot of different things about me, but I just want to let you guys know that I am fine. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life and I am sending all of you guys a lot of prayers, wishes and a lot of love.”
Britney clearly felt it necessary to address, as fans continue to express concern for her well-being amid the #FreeBritney movement, which got its start around April 2019 after the pop princess announced an indefinite work hiatus and spent one month in a mental health facility.

Unable to make personal or financial decisions without the approval of her court-appointed conservators, Brit is currently fighting to have her father removed from her 12-year conservatorship. The ongoing battle had a small victory within the last two weeks, when her petition request to expand her legal team was granted.
Despite Spears insisting she’s “fine,” her 26.7 million followers aren’t buying it and took to the comments section to voice their concern. One fan wrote, “If you have to tell people you’re fine and you look like this, you’re not fine.” Another said that in their opinion, Britney looked "terrified" in the video. Another concerned follower commented, “I love you Britney, but you don't look happy, you look more exhausted, I hope I am wrong.” We sure hope so too.
