Cat with the longest tail in the world is living in Michigan. Named Altair, the tail is 16.07-inches long scoring the Guinness World Record. The owner William Powers is from Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Mr. Powers also previously own a cat named Cygnus, which has the Guinness World Record ever for the longest tail at 17.58 inches long, "When I was ready to have cats again, the woman who bred Altair let me know that a litter had been born and there was a silver male kitten who was the half-brother of Cygnus." It's in their DNA. Mr. Powers also has the tallest cat. More here.
