Celine Dion announced “with tremendous disappointment” that she is canceling the remaining scheduled dates of her Courage World Tour to focus on her health and recovery.

After completing the first 52 dates in North America prior to pausing her tour in March 2020 due to COVID, followed by filming her first motion picture Love Again with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan in 2021, Celine revealed she'd been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome in December 2022.
Due to the neurological disorder, Celine suffers from severe and persistent muscle spasms which have affected her vocal cords and prevent the singer from performing.
When she first shared her diagnosis, Celine had hopes that the Europe portion of her tour would be able to restart in February 2023 and spring dates were to be pushed back to 2024, while the shows she had scheduled for the summer have been canceled. However, as her health continues to progress slower than anticipated, Celine made the decision to cancel the remaining scheduled shows and refunded to ticket purchases.
In Celine’s cancelation announcement posted on Instagram, Dion shared a list of the 42 cancelled European dates alongside a message expressing her sadness and heartbreak.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%,” she began.
“It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.”
To conclude, Celine assured fans that these cancelations does not mean she is “not giving up,” and that she “can’t wait to see” them again.
