In a new report, Wallet Hub names the Happiest Cities in the United States, and Detroit comes in dead last.
The report looked at factors including depression rates, income levels, divorce rates, and average amount of time spent doing recreational activities every day.
Based on those findings, the five happiest cities in the country are:
1) Fremont, California
2) Columbia, Maryland
3) San Francisco, California
4) San Jose, California
5) Irvine, California
The least happy cities, according to the report, are:
178) Montgomery, Alabama
179) Huntington, West Virginia
180) Memphis, Tennessee
181) Gulfport, Mississippi
182) Detroit, Michigan
