
More love shown for dogs. A canine that can't hear was rescued after falling down a ravine 100 feet. An officer instigated the rescue by contacting Humane Society's Emergency Response Team.

The rescue of Hobo was very difficult, and it took four hours. "Members of the ERT Technical Response Unit rushed to the scene, setting up safety lines to rappel down the steep terrain. Five team members were required to cut the dog free from brush with a saw before securing him for the climb up."
