An escaped EMU was seen running in a town. Gagne Homestead and Rescue commented, "We would like to offer a sincere apology to the community of Almonte for today's unexpected excitement when Enzo the emu decided to go on an unscheduled run through town. While this was certainly not planned, we understand it caused concern and disruption, and for that we are truly sorry."
