The Belle Isle Aquarium has a new octopus and they want your help naming it.
The Belle Isle Conservancy is running a contest on its Instagram to help name the new 8-legged addition The top 5 names will be put to a poll next week.
The new octopus, or cepholopod as its officially called, will be housed in a tank gifted by Jon Cotton.
The Belle Isle Aquariaum is open to the public 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Fri.-Sun. Admission is free.
