Scientists carbon dated a conch shell to be 17,000 years old. It was found in a cave in 1931 and looks like it had been used as an instrument with it being modified on the end for the mouth.
Believed to be the worlds oldest instrument, they got a musical expert to play it.
Scientists are doing more study with the shell, "It could have been used as a communication tool." UPI
