A dog named Milo had been missing for 44 days. A resident in Sand Lake heard barking in an old grain silo. Animal control people showed up and rescued Milo.
The grain silo is about twenty miles away from Milo's home. Initially Milo was taken to an animal shelter and they were amazed, "survived frigid temps, snow storms, hunger and dehydration." He is now home and doing well, "many tears were shed from everyone." UPI
