I'm a little surprised that Michigan didn't rank high in energy cost which is good. It does get cold here for many months, ha, I even consider Winter lasting eight months.
What helped rank Michigan at 31 for Most Energy-Expensive States from WalletHub is electricity and heating oil price here. The score would be better if we didn't consume a bunch of natural gas.
