Enjoy a mile long sandy beach on the east side of the mitten. In Harrisville, Michigan it's at Harrisville State Park on Lake Huron south of Alpena. The park itself is a good size at 107 acres with camping spots.
It also has Cedar Run Nature Trail that's two miles long. So hike, run, camp, and or just chill on the beach with amazing views especially at sunrise. Many don't know about the park, now you do. See more here.
