This manmade swimming hole in our state got my attention. Called Man Made Lake it's close to Lake Michigan in Manistee. Mining areas after use often get filled with water. This was used for sand mining.
Created in the 90's it has become a popular spot. Being a small lake vs Lake Michigan it is not as cold which also helps draw attention. And sunsets are beautiful there.
