The Best Cities For Women is interesting. Earning, healthcare, and living standards is part of what compiled the rankings. Three in California made the top five. One in New York made the top ten. Detroit scored very low. Even Honolulu, HI was not even in the top 50. I'm surprised that Florida didn't have one in the top forty.
