Michigan is a beautiful state. The largest state park we have is a whopping 60,000 acres. It will take you a few days to adventure through Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. In the UP it's actually in the two counties of Ontonagon and Gogebic.
Scenery includes forests, creeks, waterfalls, Lake Superior, and the Porcupine Mountains which are called "the Porkies." Porkies makes me think of the movie. Plus there are over 90 miles of trails.
