I'm sure there are different rankings on other sites but this one is interesting. The "Hardest-Working States in the U.S." has North Dakota and Alaska in the top two spots. Michigan is near the bottom at 47 surprises me.
The rankings include "Average Commute Time" which our Metro Area requires long commutes but probably not in most others areas of our state. Also "involved in, enthusiastic about and committed to their work and workplace." Much research was done to achieve rankings. See more here.
