One way to get rid of something you don't like is bury it. That what Sting did with a recording he hated. String was not into instrumental's but guitar player of Police Andy Summers was. Summers gave Sting a recording then he tried to eliminate it forever.
Even though Sting buried the original recording, the instrumental was released and scored them a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. Yes, the song is Behind My Camel.
It was released on the album Zenyatta Mondatta, Summers states, "I was always much more interested in weirder stuff, and the commercial hit songs always seemed to come out of Sting anyway. But we didn't have enough songs to fill the album. More here.
