A very interesting list of "2021's Hardest-Working States in America," from WalletHub. The state with people doing the most work is Alaska. Maybe because they have less warm weather to enjoy free time outside.
The rankings are actually determined by hours worked, multiple jobs, commute time, and other categories. Hey, my commute time is almost an hour each way, driving a total of 98 miles each day.
Michigan ranks near the bottom at #45. Maybe Unions planted the seed of not working beyond the deserved pay and benefits received. More here.
