
Imagine a huge campground with access to the Iron Ore Heritage Trail for snowmobiles and other off road vehicles. Negaunee city manager Nate Heffron, “Negaunee stands at the crossroads of all modes of recreation; from hiking to biking, snowmobiling and ORVing.”
Negaunee is hoping for a $3.7 million federal grant to make it happen, “Negaunee will begin to mark a new and aggressive era of investment in the public parks."

Iron Ore Heritage Trail administrator Carol Fulsher likes it, "We are happy to be working with the city.
