This is what happened when a person didn't obey the no parking sign. They parked on sand and of course being close to ocean water tide levels change and the vehicle was gulped in water. Must not be a big beach like in Daytona Beach, Florida where people drive on the sand.
The sign read "No parking beyond this sign." Duxbury Police Department responded, "We are aware of the vehicle at the west end of the bridge, it will be removed when the tide goes out." Makes me want to always obey the signs. More here.
