Maryland* Stay-at-home directive in Maryland. Governor Larry Hogan instructs Marylanders to only leave their homes for essential jobs, food or medical care. * Maryland Public Schools will remain closed through April 24.
The District * All District residents ordered to stay home. Mayor Bowser says the only exceptions are to perform essential jobs or activities.* All weekend jail sentences have been suspended through June 5. And all misdemeanor bench warrants issued in criminal misdemeanor, criminal traffic and District of Columbia criminal cases -- except for bench warrants issued in misdemeanor sex offense and indecent exposure cases --- are suspended.* The U.S. Capitol complex to remain closed to public through May 1. * D.C. Public Schools closed through April 24. * All non-essential businesses in D.C. closed until April 24. * All DC Parks facilities, including playgrounds, parks, and athletic fields, closed to the public.
Virginia * Governor Northam has ordered residents to remain at home, except for certain necessities. * All schools in Virginia closed for remainder of academic year.

Salvation Army
Wanna help? The Salvation Army is accepting COVID-19 Care Packages from the safety of your own home and securely dropping them off at one of their eight locations throughout the DMV. They are offering secure, no-contact drop off from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday, as well as by appointment other times.
They also welcome Amazon, Walmart, and other shipping orders to simply be shipped directly. There is also the option to donate online.
Street Closures In The District
* Paid sick and family leave for people in quarantine, caring for a family member with COVID-19 or have children out of school.
Protection for Homeowners/Renters * In Maryland, companies can't shut off electric, gas, water, sewage, phone, cable TV, and internet service to any residential customer. No late fees either.* Maryland courts are prohibited from ordering the eviction of any tenant who can show that their failure to pay rent was the result of COVID-19.

Schools
D.C. Public schools closed through April 24. In Virginia, all schools closed through the remainder of calendar year. Public schools in Maryland closed through March 31.
However, meals and snacks will still be available to students at these locations.
Maryland Vehicle Administration
MVA has closed all offices indefinitely. All driver’s and business licenses, identification cards, permits and registrations that expire or are eligible for renewal during this time will not expire until the 30th day after Maryland's state of emergency has been lifted.
