After Drake and Rick Ross, followed up Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole, it seems a new duo is up to bat with some scathing words of their own — Quavo and Chris Brown.

What seems to have started back in January, after Chris let his feeling towards Quavo be known after being sat next to him at the Rhude Menswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show. “Can’t pick who you sit by,” Brown wrote in an Instagram comment, adding, “F*** all that growth s***. N**** not finna fumble my bag for little n****.”
Chris then reignited the beef earlier this month, when he took additional shots at Huncho on the 11:11 (Deluxe) edition track, “Freak” and then once again just days ago with a diss track titled “Weakest Link.”
In response, Quavo loaded up his barrel to take some shots of his own, dropping a diss track, “Over Hoes & B****es,” with cover art depicting himself choking Brown.
On the track Quavo brings up Brown’s violent past, mentioning his 2009 felony assault involving Rihanna. “You been f***ed your bag up when you punched Ri’ in the face / Talking about Fashion Week, you sparing who / Come punch me in my face / It ain’t nun’ but a fade, you know you lost to Frank,” he raps.
Chris appeared to laugh off Quavo’s diss reply, claiming it wasn’t strong enough to warrant a response. “Google raps that s*** is poooooooh Damn and I was excited. That s*** don’t even need a response. Takeoff rap better,” he wrote on his IG story that very night.
Which he followed with “CMON QUAVIOUS” and five tomato emojis in another, then an image of a crying Quavo with a fake tattoo reading “WEAKEST LINK” on his forehead, and closed out with that heckling standup comedy scene from SpongeBob Squarepants, for the full send.
Quavo also stirred the pot with his ex Saweetie, rapping “I can take a model b**** and make a Saweetie.” His former flame didn’t seem too bothered either, but obviously didn’t let it slide, sharing a screenshot of alleged Instagram DMs, which include an unread thirsty message from Quavo.
