The song, set to be part of his highly anticipated yet to be titled ninth album, follows up his previous single “Glu.”

Produced by Mel & Mus, “Good Good,” arrived with a visualizer featuring snippets of Usher’s viral Vegas residency serenades, one most recent of which with Keke Palmer created quite a buzz on the internet.

Usher opens the track with a bittersweet message to an ex about their failed relationship but amicable split, noting that while he would have liked for things to work between them, they didn’t and he wishes her nothing but the best. In other words, as Usher sings on the chorus, “I hate that we didn’t make it to forever / Probably ain’t gettin’ back together / But that don’t mean that I can’t wish you better / We ain’t good good, but we still good.”

Walker pops up in the second verse, offering a woman’s perspective, signing, “It didn’t work, but I hope you find another / I wish you peace, I wish you good sex and good sleep / Find the girl of your dreams ’cause I sleep well at night knowin’ this ain’t meant to be.”

21 Savage enters with smooth bars in the third verse, echoing the same sentiments, punctuating each line with his signature ad-libs. Rapping, “I know the person you is (Yeah) / That’s why I still wanna be friends (On God) / If you wanna open up a new salon, I still help pay for the wigs (Straight up) / And I help with the lease (On God) / You know I ain’t never been cheap (21).”
