Joesph “Rev Run” Simmons, and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels took to the stage near the end of the event, for what we know now is the very last time. After opening their set with their 1984 hit "Rock Box,” the duo went on to perform a list of their classic hits including, “It’s Like That,” “Sucker MC’s,” “It’s Tricky,” “Walk This Way,” and “My Adidas.” Concluding the set with their famous red, black, and white logo flashing on the screen behind them, along with “JMJ 4EVER,” A nod to their pioneering DJ, the late Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell.

The group first teased their retirement back in January when DMC expressed that “Run-D.M.C. is over.” Noting, “the only way Run-D.M.C. gets back together is if The Beatles get back together. Can that happen?”

At the time, DMC had said their final show would be an April performance at Madison Square Garden. "It's going to be the last episode of the documentary we're doing. Run-D.M.C.’s last show ever," McDaniels said. "Cause it's time for Run to go be Paul McCartney and me to be John Lennon. We done did what we could do.”

So whether this is their actual last performance, guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Either way, check out Run-D.M.C.’s electrifying show below,

The concert, also featured performances from Nas and Lauryn Hill, who together performed "Nobody" and "If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)." As well as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, T.I., Lil' Kim, Common, Ghostface Killah, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Trina, Slick Rick, and more.
