Jerry had two choices for Friday’s Moment of the Day, but as good as “Tyrone Matthau” is as an NFL defensive back, Kyrie Irving was the topic of the day.
In an attempt to bring some levity to Kyrie’s absence from the Nets for personal reasons, Gio whipped out the Sean Marks impression, acting as if the Nets GM was speaking about his mercurial star.
“I’m assuming he didn’t tell Sean Marks about this either, because Marks would’ve told Steve Nash,” Gio speculated.
“So let me ask you this – what do you think Sean Marks is thinking?” Boomer asked, which brought Gio down under.
“Alright, this thing is going horribly! I bring this guy in, and he’s already going AWOL and not texting the coach! I did every damn thing I could to make him happy and he’s gone,” Gio Marks said. “Durant has already had the coronavirus and now he can’t be around because he’s been exposed again! And Dinwiddie’s out with the knee…this thing is a disaster!”
