Gabe Vincent played big last night in Philadelphia in The Heat's win and it was needed because the team has been shorthanded. Although a big game Vincent stayed level saying, "We just play, it was a fun game."
He seems to be feeling his rhythm, Vincent claims, "I am just more comfortable with my teammates."
No excuses are made by the team, Vincent shares their mentality when he says, "It is never going to be easy, all that we have out there is what we need."
He made a giant 3 late in the game when the teams were tied at 96, Vincent says of the shot, "It felt good to me, if you ask me I did not miss last night but that one felt especially good."
Vincent was not passing on the shot claiming, "I tried to stay aggressive, I did not want to play preventative offense."
Another reason The Heat have been successful though down players is P.J. Tucker. Vincent says, "He kind of sets the tone for toughness."
What can we expect from The Heat going forward? Vincent says, "We are going to continue to fight."
Miami plays Orlando Friday at 7 p.m.
