
Audacy NBA Insider and former player Brian Scalabrine reacts to the Markieff Morris/Nikola Jokic incident by stating, “They act like Morris did nothing.”
He continues, “I think Jokic is wrong but if something like that happens to you, you react.”
Scalabrine notes that Jokic is not a dirty players saying, “He loses his cool when people try to test him.”
Scalabrine thinks the time and situation are key to what happened saying, “He is wrong for retaliating but analyze a hard foul in an 18 point game.”
He also says, “You cannot be doing these faouls when the score is out of reach.”
What will happened to both players? Scalabrine believes, “I think both will be severely punished.”
When he played, the number one tough guy played for Indiana, Scalabrine explains, “Ron Artest was breathing in my face, I thought he was messing with me until Reggie Miller told him to count backwards from 10.”
After that he said to himself, “Oh man, I am in trouble.”
The Heat look to rebound Wednesday night out in L.A. against a LeBron-less Lakers team at 10 p.m.
