With All-Star Weekend behind us, it is time to get back to betting on the NBA. Today’s slate features 11 games, so there will be plenty of studs to choose from for our player prop bets. I’ll go with Celtics-Nets as tonight’s game of the day. Brooklyn is favored by 2.5 points and the total is set to 233.5, which means there will be plenty of points scored.

As for today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Kemba Walker OVER 19.5 points

Walker comes into the matchup averaging 18.5 points per game (PPG), but that number has jumped to 21.6 PPG over his last ten outings.

The Boston guard finally seems healthy and has scored over this number in four out of his last five games. The Nets are 27th in points allowed and 26th in defensive rating, so Kemba won’t face much resistance on that end.

As I noted above, this game has a high total, which should point towards a favorable game script. Look for Kemba to get his and get over this mark.

LaMelo Ball OVER 17.5 points

Ball is currently averaging 15.8 PPG, but that number has soared to 19.7 over his last ten games. LaMelo is now officially starting, which of course has made a difference.

Tonight he faces a Detroit team that is 28th in opponent’s field goal percentage and has allowed the sixth most points in the paint. Ball should be able to penetrate all game long.

He has also gone over this number in six straight games. I like the number and the spot here.

Steph Curry UNDER 5.5 made threes

Curry is having an MVP-like season, and is averaging 4.8 made threes on 11.7 attempts a game. But, the Los Angeles Clippers are solid at defending the three ball, so I like the under spot here.

LAC has the length to defend Curry and the team also ranks 6th in 3-pointers allowed and 9th in opponent’s three-point percentage. Steph also hasn’t gone over this number in his last four games.
