According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, Connecticut small businesses have surpassed $1 billion in forgivable first and second draw loans through the Paycheck Protection Program.More than 11,600 companies in Connecticut have received potentially forgivable loans since the program reopened last month. And in 2020, more than 62,000 businesses in our state received PPP loans which totaled up to $6.7 billion.These loans have been a lifeline to businesses who’ve been struggling during the pandemic.
