Susan Linker from Our Companions chats with Mike and Mary about Tina, Neon and Samara - the November Pets of the Month! Let's Meet them!
Tina and Neon:
Neon is a brilliant yellow male parakeet who loves to hangout with his girlfriend Tina. un loving and playful, you can find Neon swinging on a swing, ringing the bell on his toy or snacking on millet. Tina is a beautiful pristine white female parakeet who is partnered with Neon, a brilliant yellow-feathered parakeet. Tina really enjoys sunny days more than overcast days. She likes to play with her toys which include bells and her swing. Neon must be adopted with his lifelong partner Tina in a home together. Prior experience with parakeets is preferable. Our Companions
Samara:
Samara is a dilute calico whose owner passed away with no close family or friends to take her. She was kept in a large carrier over the weekend while the owner’s community teamed together to find a place for Samara to go. Our Companions was contacted and she arrived at our Sanctuary at 12 years old on August of 2023.
This affectionate, exotic beauty is ready for playtime and snuggles! Samara loves a lively play session with a fast-moving mouse toy and happy to cozy up on a lap for some quiet bonding time. She enjoys working on her cardboard scratcher, getting pets and loves her treats! She can be shy until she’s feeling comfortable so a quiet only pet home where she can soak up and share all the love would be perfect.
