St. Gregory The Great Church in Bristol will present its 5th Annual Christmas Concert – “A Sacred Christmas” at the Church, 235 Maltby Street, on Sunday at 2pm. The concert features the St. Gregory Choir, piano, winds, and strings, under the direction of David Junko. There is no admission, however, there will be a free will offering to benefit the Church’s music program. Concertgoers should use the main entrance to the church. Eastern States Exposition will present Yuletide at Storrowton Village Museum in West Springfield, with Opening Weekend Saturday and Sunday! I-Park, an international, multi-disciplinary artists’ colony set within a 450-acre nature preserve in East Haddam celebrates the season with Holiday Cheer during the final OPEN Studios of the year on Sunday at 1pm. Take a look behind the scenes at this open-air, private studio incubator where seven artists working in the visual arts, music composition, creative writing and architecture, have been living and working together this November. Gather in the Common Area, an indoor meeting space, to mix and mingle with the artists. Festive refreshments will be served. Dress warm so you can visit the artists in their studios to hear, see and experience the projects they have developed during their time. An artist-led walk will take place at 3pm to experience several new artworks. Meet Julie Hensley, a writer from Kentucky.
