Opera Connecticut, in collaboration with Land Rover Hartford, is presenting the holiday opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors at Land Rover Hartford, 77 Weston Street, Hartford, CT. This opera, the first one written for television, is only 45 minutes long. Amahl is a young boy who lives on the outskirts of Bethlehem and the Night Visitors are the 3 kings who stop by his house as they follow a star in the sky. This presentation is our gift to Hartford. There are 2 performances on Sunday, December 8th, one at 2:00 pm and the other at 4:00 pm. There is no admission charge, but donations of non-perishable food items will be collected and then given to Foodshare.
