Hartford Athletic return to the pitch Saturday for their Home Opener at Trinity Health of New England Stadium (Dillon Stadium) in Hartford.  Happy Hour kicks off at Noon.  The game versus Birmingham Legion FC starts at 2pm.  All fans in attendance at Saturday's match get a special 2024 schedule t-shirt courtesy of Trinity Health of New England!

The Farmington Community Chest and Bottle Shop of Unionville present A Wine, Beer & Spirits Tasting Saturday 6 to 9pm at the Farmington Polo Club, 162 Town Farm Rd., Farmington off of Route 4 past Tunxis Plantation Golf Course.  Over 20 vendors with 100 items to sample. All sorts of fun foods, apps and ONLY $50 per person.  You're allowed to ORDER wines (from Bottle Shop of Unionville) and Bottle Shop donates back a percentage  to the hosts for each bottle sold. (10-15% type of thing). Plus High End Wines for an extra $10. Proceeds benefit the Farmington Police Benevolent Association, offering grants and scholarships with the funds raised.   Tickets can be purchased at Bottle Shop of Unionville and Farmington Jewelers.

Saturday is March Open Cockpit Day at the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks!  Climb inside vintage aircraft 10am to 2pm.  Included with regular admission.  www.neam.org

The Connecticut Fishing and Outdoor Show is Friday 1 to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm in the Earth Expo Center at Mohegan Sun.  Something for everyone including a Kid Zone, live animals, seminars and demonstrations, kayak pond demos and/or Hawg Trough demos happening! The town of Wallingford offers an indoor Winter Market every Saturday 10am to 1pm through March 30th, at the Hubcap, 128 Center St, Wallingford.  Fresh microgreens, pickled items, baked goods, crafters and Anna’s Lemonades and Teas are just some of the items weekly plus vendors and crafts!
