Lyman’s Fall Jazz Series continues with “Women of Jazz” featuring pianist/composer Carol Albert, Saxophonist, flutist Paula Atherton and Ragan Whiteside Flute-playing soul-jazz phenomenon Saturday at 8pm at the Lyman Center on the campus of Southern CT State University!

Scotty McCreery is in the Great Cedar Show Room Friday 8pm at Foxwoods.  Tickets are $99-$116.  Then Diana Ross plays the Premier Theater at Foxwoods Saturday 8pm.  Tickets are $67-$287.


There are two Yankee Peddler Fairs this weekend – The Asbury United Methodist Church, 90 Church Avenue in Forestville hosts theirs Friday 5-8pm and Saturday 9am-3pm PLUS a Pancake Breakfast Saturday from 8-10am!  Apple Fritters, Baked Goods, Cemetery Pots, Cookies, Hand Made Items, Silent Auction, Vendors, Yankee Peddler Grille.  Free Admission.  If able, please donate a non-perishable food item for the Asbury Food Pantry.

And the other is Saturday 9am to 2pm at the Berlin Congregational Church, 878 Worthington Ridge, Berlin.  It features Crafters, a Holiday General Store, Bake Sale, Raffle and Refreshments. Admission donation $1.00 per person.

Terryville Congregational Church’s Annual Christmas Bazaar is also Saturday from 10am to 3pm.  Vendors, a bake sale, cookie walk, luncheon, Christmas past room, tea cup raffle, and holiday cheer. Browse the Winter Magic Craft Boutique Sunday 10am to 3pm at Luna's Banquet Hall, 360 King Street Bristol.  Shop with a purpose at this Fundraiser for Relay for Life Plainville-Bristol-Southington as Team PUMC -Bristol, & Team Patty's Pride - Plainville co-host this unique craft fair boutique. Don’t miss out on The 30th Annual Train Show, a New England holiday tradition. The family-friendly Train Show exhibit is back at the Connecticut River Museum and is sure to surprise and delight visitors of all ages. The 2023 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip Off Weekend is Saturday at Noon and 5:30 and Sunday 1pm and 6pm. Teams include Mississippi State, Washington State, Northwestern and Rhode Island. Tickets $25-$121.
