The Hartford Saengerbund German American Club will present its biennial Christkindlmarkt (Christmas Market) Friday 10am to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 6pm. Vendors will be selling German imports and handcrafted items. Other traditions include the daily lighting of the Christmas tree, dancing, pageantry, carolers and a visit from St. Nicholas. The kitchen will be serving German food and homemade cakes and the bar will feature imported German beer and gluhwein, a hot mulled winter warmer.
