October celebrates all things Spooky! How about Trail of Terror in Wallingford, now open every weekend through Halloween. Trail of Terror is one of Connecticut’s most popular haunted attractions, now in its 31st year. It’s a seasonal, outdoor haunted trail experience that takes visitors through a series of elaborate sets, dark woods, and scare zones filled with actors, props, and special effects. The staff is made up entirely of volunteers, and the Trail regularly donates proceeds from ticket sales to various charities. “Eight Days a Week: An Illustrated Record of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” an exhibition of rock music memorabilia, is now on display in Jorgensen Gallery at Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts on the UConn Storrs campus throughout Jorgensen’s fall season of events. This unique exhibition of rock music memorabilia with more than 100 items, including more than 40 photos of members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that were taken by Connecticut photographer Joseph Sia, including his famous image of Jimi Hendrix at Woolsey Hall in New Haven, known as “The Shadow.” www.jorgensen.uconn.edu
