The Witch's Dungeon Classic Movie Museum, 103 East Main St, Plainville welcomes bats and ghouls to it’s 57th continuous year in CT. Hartford-area children and families are invited to the Urban League of Greater Hartford’s third annual “Trunk or Treat” on Friday from 4 to 6pm in the parking lot of the Urban League at 140 Woodland St. in Hartford. Community organizations, businesses, schools, and individuals will safely distribute prepackaged candy and treats from decorated cars and booths in a tailgate-style. All ages are invited to come (costume optional), and there will be a 5pm costume parade for everyone. Children ages 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult. No advance registration is needed. Additional fun includes a DJ, children’s book giveaway, Double-Dutch jump rope demonstrations, hands-on arts & crafts, selfie photo opportunities and prize giveaways. Also free fresh produce from the Urban League of Greater Hartford’s indoor Aeroponic Garden. Don’t miss The Warren's: Seekers of the Supernatural Phantasma-Con Friday and Saturday at the Earth Expo & Convention Center at Mohegan Sun.  The space will be transformed into a land of paranormal, supernatural and horror aspects. The VIP Party takes place from 7 – 11pm and will feature the only opportunity to take photos of the haunted artifacts all weekend. The Fair Weather Acres Fall Festival and Corn Maze runs from now through Sunday. So much family fun with pumpkins, petting zoos and lots of activities!  They are off Route 3 in Rocky Hill on the Cromwell line and are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 9am-6pm with the last ticket entrance at 4:30pm.

Foodies and families will also enjoy the Lyman Orchards Corn Maze and Cider Donut Festival taking place Saturday and Sunday. Carving for a Cause Charity Pumpkin Patch was designed to highlight our local creativity, bring joy to our community, and raise money for a local charity.
