It’s finally here… The Big E is ridin, eatin, farmin, smilin and more!  It is on now through October 2 at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield! General hours are 8am to 10pm daily (Avenue of the States and Storrowton Village close an hour sooner. Midway open till 11pm on weekends) Parking on site is CASH only $10.  Prices at the gate are $15 Adult, $10 children 6-12 and Free for 5 and under.  There is a Military Appreciation Day, Senior Days and of course State Days too.  Check out the 600lb Cabot Creamery Cooperative Butter Sculpture find the Speakeasy and shop for crafts, gadgets, gifts and more!  www.TheBigE.com

Wolf Pack Ninja events are high-energy, interactive experiences in arenas throughout the country. The weekend-long event will include activities that allow Ninja fans of all ages to participate, interact, and watch top ninjas compete at the highest level. The weekend ends in a bracket-style competition of the top-16 men and women who will race head-to-head for a chance to win $25,000 in front of a live audience. Lyman Orchards in Middlefield is the place for a Benjamin Franklin Themed CORN MAZE Regular Hours are 1-5:30pm Monday-Friday and 10am-5:30pm on Weekends and Holiday. Last maze entry is 5:30pm. The Adventure Park, 2007 Storrs Rd in Storrs is open.  Enjoy ziplining and climbing to high energy music and colorful glowing lights on Glow in the Park Nights. The 9 trails at The Adventure Park consist of various challenges in the trees, including bridges, tightropes, ladders, and 26 ziplines.  Non-climbing participants are admitted free of charge to share the experience on the ground and enjoy the property’s nature trails, picnic tables and community firepit.
