The Simpsons, the longest running scripted prime-time series in television history, will continue its run for at least two more years. This is the second consecutive two-year renewal for the series. Seasons 33 and 34 will take the show through 2023.
In total, the animated series will have produced 757 original episodes. The number of episodes and seasons are both new records.
