VERNON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Vernon police are seeking the public's help in investigating a Thursday night shooting that injured a man.
Police responded to the Shell Gas Station at the intersection of Route 30 and Merline Road on the report of a shooting victim around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday night.
Officers say the man was shot multiple times behind the American Eagle Financial Credit Union across the street.
The victim was taken to Hartford Hospital in an ambulance. His wounds do not appear to be life threatening.
